Sól is an advanced Dual Voltage, 20 Amp MPPT Buck Boost charge controller and panel optimizer. It finds the TRUE MPPT or GLOBAL MPPT operating point and ignores the false maximum that occur on partial shaded panels. This results in significant gains in charge current over competitors. Solar input operation extended from 10 to 54 volts regardless of battery voltage. It can BOTH lower (Buck) and raise (Boost) Solar voltage to Battery voltage at very high efficiency over 99% peak. Sól also does a better job extracting power from heavily shaded panels and low light conditions which will get every last watt of power available. Sól can operate where buck only converters are not able due to the MPPT point dropping below battery voltage. Now 24 volt systems can use 36, 54 or 60 cell panels that would normally not have enough voltage to work properly. Sól is the highest performance controller on the market today with an advanced DC-DC power converter. Up to 700 Watts STC at 24 Volts and 350 Watts STC at 12 volts. Rugged Cast Aluminum Enclosure.
